This was a concept that was presented to the Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii. I designed the turtle based on Polynesian tattoo art as a way to pay tribute to the indigenous people of Hawaii. If you look closely you can see the Turtle Bay wave design incorporated into the shell. Ultimately it was not chosen, but I still love it. :)
